Think you’ve got what it takes to become a rally legend? Then step up and take on the infamous Welly Wanging Competion !
The current world records stand at an incredible 63.98 metres (209.9 ft) for men and 40.87 metres (134.1 ft) for women, both set by competitors from Finland. While we’re not expecting any world records to tumble in Cirencester, we’re certain there’ll be plenty of determination, laughter and friendly rivalry as Chapters battle it out for bragging rights and the coveted glass beer boot trophy. Which Chapter will be carrying it home this year?
If welly wanging isn’t your thing, don’t worry,we’ve got plenty more to keep you entertained after the Hogroast on Saturday. Try your hand at Human Demolition, Basketball Shootout or Giant Jenga, or simply relax and enjoy the atmosphere with a selection of traditional lawn games. Whether you’re fiercely competitive or just in it for the fun, there’s something for everyone.
The trophies are nice, but the bragging rights last all year!
