Hamish led 19 Chapter members on 18 bikes to the Torque Moto Cafe in the Greylands Estate just north of Horsham on a lovely sunny autumn day.
Leaving GHD the ride headed out on the B2128 to Cranleigh turning left onto the B2127 to Ewhurst and Forest Green. From here they picked up the B2126 to Ockley and the old Roman road of Staine Street. Crossing the modern A24 dual carriageway at Beare Green the ride headed for Newidgate before turning left heading south on the Rusper Road. Through Rusper the ride turned right on a single track road before picking up Friday Street lead to the Torque Moto Cafe and a well earned coffee and bacon roll.
After a break the ride headed back to the A24 and Ockely via a different route, carrying on south on Staine Street before picking up the A281 for a brief spell, turning left back on Staine Street to Billinghurst. Following the A272 out of the village the ride headed back to GHD via Loxwood, Alford and back on the A281 to Shalford for the last leg to Peasmarsh.
Total: 70 miles
