Well, after 14 years as Road Crew and 6 years as Head Road Captain, today was my last official meeting in that role, an end of an era for me for which it has been an honour to represent the Chapter.

I am pleased to announce that the new Head Road Captain is to be Nigel Smith and will be patched up at the December club meeting.

I am also pleased to announce that we will also have 3 new Road Captain’s, they are Chris Windy Blows , Epp Eepster Chagger and not least “he’s here he’s there he’s everywhere” Dave O’Brien. Congratulations to all 3 of them and very well deserved. The new Road Captain’s will be patched up at the January club night by our new Head Road Captain.
