Hamish Rogers lead a group of 9 riders and 7 pillons away on a 4 day trip to the Peak District on 8 bikes and one trike.
Riding out from GHD stopping at the H Cafe in Dorchester, south of Oxford for coffee and the National Motorcycle Museum for lunch before joining the fabulous A515 north to their base in Buxton.
Day 2 the group rode the Cat & Fiddle and Winnats Pass stopping for lunch at Castleton where they explored the Devil’s Arse cave, Peveril Castle and the local tea rooms for lunch.
The afternoon saw the group ride to Bakewell in search of the famous original Bakewell pudding before riding out across Monyash in search of ice cream.
Day 3 took the group up to Glossop and Snake Pass stopping to explore the Derwent and Ladybower reservoirs and lunching at a local pub. The afternoon ride took the group back to Bakewell and more ice cream.
Day 4 the journey home via Matlock, Ripley, the M1, A43 and M40
