A lovely sunny spring day saw Hamish Rogers lead 19 bikes and a trike on a Livewire on a 40 mile ride through the heart of the South Downs to the lovely, historic village of Bosham on the Chichester Harbour coast.
Setting off from GHD the ride headed south on the A3100 and A286 to Midhurst before picking up the A272 and heading west. A couple of miles out of Midhurst a left turn took the ride on some lovely scenic B roads to South Harting before heading up over Harting Down on to the glorious B2141, dropping into Mid Lavant. A right out of the village, avoided Chichester and took the bikes into Fishbourne and the A259 before turning off into Bosham and parking on the sea front for lunch.
Hamish lead a return ride via Funtingdon, Petersfield and the Hindhead tunnel that even made the Livewire sound glorious!
A round trip is of 85 miles with juice in the Livewire for 15 more!
