After Dave’s successful ride to Weld Hospice we have received this email from Matt the CEO of the Hospice..

Once again, I’d like to thank you for coordinating the Hogsback Chapter visit and rides today, it brought so much joy, energy and happiness to the hospice. 

Every year I am humbled by seeing patients and loved ones who are facing one of the toughest journeys, pop on a helmet, zip up the leather jacket and let their mind be taken away from the personal challenges they are facing, and instead have the most wonderful time out on the road. 

And for the staff…there were so many walking around the hospice on cloud nine either having been on the bikes, or watched colleagues come back with beaming smiles! 

As always, the Chapter crew were as kind and gentle with patients and staff alike, and their approach always makes the experience that even more special.

Please do pass on my sincere gratitude and thanks to them all for giving up their time to spread some joy. I unfortunately had to dash off to a meeting so was unable to thank them before they left. 

Experiences like this demonstrate that hospice care is one special thing!
